NFCMS is a publicly funded school, part of the Delta County School District. The NFCMS community is committed to improving the quality of the school by raising money in various ways to add to enrichment programs, offer Preschool scholarships, and upgrade classroom materials.

In 2009/2010, the Fund Raising Committee (headed by Tim Lafferty and Wendy Thompson) was very successful. They arranged events like the  Contra Dance, The Tijuana Dump Film Festival and the Popsicle Obstacle Course, which were fun and profitable as well.
