NFCMS is a publicly funded school, part of the Delta County School District. The NFCMS community is committed to improving the quality of the school by raising money in various ways to add to enrichment programs, offer Preschool scholarships, and upgrade classroom materials.

In 2009/2010, the Fund Raising Committee (headed by Tim Lafferty and Wendy Thompson) was very successful. They arranged events like the  Contra Dance, The Tijuana Dump Film Festival and the Popsicle Obstacle Course, which were fun and profitable as well. The next fund raising event will be food concessions at the Gears and Beers Fest in Paonia on May 22. Please come out for a great mountain biking festival which includes biking workshops and local beer tasting and live music. And grab a snack from our booth!

Over the summer, look for the NFCMS food concessions at the "Pickin' in the Park" Concert series. It was a roaring good time last summer.
